ALL roster moves will need to be posted right here. Moves will fall under 4 categories:
SWAP: You are simply swapping in a player that was on your 40 man roster into your active lineup. For example you may want to swap in an SP who is starting that day and swap out a pitcher that you won’t be using that day. Remember you can only do this with 2 players max from your 40 man roster (you choose who).
IL: Whenever placing a player on IL or taking off IL, this needs to be posted to be tracked.
CUT: This is when you actually have to cut a player from your roster to keep your roster in compliance, likely when you are activating someone off IL. If a player gets CUT, he is ineligible to be re-added to your roster for the remainder of the regular season, unless he is replacing a player who is going on the IL.
ADD: This is when you adding an additional player to your roster to replace a player who is going to the IL. You are limited to 2 players to continually SWAP in from your 40, but you are able to ADD an additional player if he is replacing someone sent to the IL.
Since our trade deadline passed, everyone has their pool of players to choose from. Once we reach the playoffs, you will be able to completely reset your roster using your pool of players and this process will no longer apply.
To hopefully keep things competitive, if you fail to make the playoffs you won’t be charged the $1 salary fee for any new player you use the rest of the year. So go ahead, swap in that prospect you’re holding on to and make things interesting!
